Soy Crisps are a new addition to the snack food line. Gluten free, they are made with organic soy and organic rice. The Crisps come in four varieties: Cinnamon Sugar, White Cheddar, Lightly Salted, and Barbecue, and have between 7 and 9 grams of protein depending on the variety.
“The Crisps can be used for more than the expected snack,” says Nell. “Use the White Cheddar to add some crunch to tuna fish. If you put them in the food processor for several minutes to create crumbs, they can be used as a breading for baked chicken, or as a flavorful replacement for breadcrumbs in meatballs or meatloaf. Kids love to float them in soup. It’s fun to experiment with different ways to use them.”
